He has held positions as Director of Public Affairs and Development at UNSW, CEO of UNSW Foundation, Marketing Manager of the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife, and Fundraising Manager of the Children's Hospital at Westmead. He is a former Chairman of The Ethnic Communities Council of NSW and Vice-Chairman of the Federation of Ethnic Communities Councils of Australia. He holds a MCom in Marketing and BA in Economics/Industrial Relations from UNSW.
