EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT: NSW

AMI NSW PRESENTS

BREAKFAST SEMINAR

EVENT NAME

Two award-winning campaign stories

EVENT DATE

Thursday 1 March 2012

There were many outstanding marketing campaigns honoured in the Australian Marketing Institute's 2011 Awards for Marketing Excellence. Two NSW winners in national categories were:

  • The Cancer Council NSW, for 'Fighting skin cancer with a musical sound' (Social Marketing category winner).
  • Inspirations Paint & Colour, for 'The Colour Clique Loyalty Program' (Loyalty Programs category winner).

The Cancer Council campaign aimed to change teenagers' behaviour when out in the sun. This social marketing-based campaign resulted in a 38% increase in positive teenage sun protection behaviour and has grown into a national skin cancer prevention initiative.

Inspirations Paint, a retail paint franchise, did the hard yards to build a successful new customer loyalty program that increased sales and memberships year-on-year over three years.

Join us at the first breakfast seminar of the year to hear meaningful insights from marketers Jackie McIver (Cancer Council) and Joel Goodsir (Inspirations Paint) into how these campaigns were built, what they achieved, and how their success was measured.
