COURSE OUTLINE
Business communications is changing and organisations are under pressure from customers and employees to interact online. This two-day interactive workshop will assist you to develop the skills and safeguards to use these online business communication tools successfully for increased productivity and greater customer engagement.
You will learn the fundamental principles of communicating in the social networking environment, including the benefits and risks for your organisation. The facilitator will look at the common social network tools such as blogging, Facebook, Myspace, YouTube, Twitter, Linked In, Wikis and Flickr and apply them to a business environment. You will learn how these tools can be integrated into your organisation’s communications and marketing strategies, for either internal or external client groups.
This workshop will examine risk and organisational policy issues including assessing organisational readiness. The workshop takes a hands-on approach to learning and involves some 'telling', group work and practical application – the best style of training to suit adult learners.
The course qualifies for 16 hours of professional development under the AMI's Certified Practising Marketer program.
