WORKSHOP OUTLINE

This one-day intensive workshop will provide participants with the ability to develop and present a marketing budget to management. The workshop will:

  • include an outline of accounting concepts and functions
  • explore the definition of a budget and its purpose from both a marketing and accounting stance
  • provide a proforma budget format in Excel
  • study some real-life case studies
  • develop your own marketing budget utilising given data
  • develop skills to present your budget in a comprehensive and interesting way
  • develop skills for review and evaluation of your budget.

This workshop will provide participants with a variety of content including keyword definitions, information developing the idea of budgets and budgeting and their use in business, workshop discussion and input relating to participants' own experience. Please bring your laptop computer to this workshop.

The workshop qualifies for eight hours of professional development under the AMI's Certified Practising Marketer program.
