| The Emerging Marketers is a special interest group to cater specifically for the needs of marketing students from all of WA's tertiary institutions, recent marketing graduates, and young marketers with less than five years of experience.
Specific events cover practical elementary marketing concepts and trends/issues faced by young marketers. They also include seminars and workshops as well as entertaining activities such as tours of Perth studios, sundowners, and social networking events to suit all students' and young marketers' professional development needs, budgets and timetables.
An Emerging Marketers subcommittee of the AMI WA Branch assists with the development and co-ordination of these events. Through university lecturers and heads of department, one student representative from each tertiary institution will be sought to make up this subcommittee, along with seven additional spaces available for marketers with less than five years of industry experience.
