Ian Alwill
Executive Director, Group Marketing and Communications, Nestlé Oceania
Ian's international career in marketing and advertising has included key roles with McCann Erickson and The Seven Up Company. Today, Ian is responsible for the commercial consumer interface of Nestle and its brands. As a Nestle Australia Board member he chairs the internal marketing risk management group, addressing reputation management and corporate issues such as nutrition and sustainability. He was formerly Chairman of the Australian Association of National Advertisers (2000-2009) and is Chair of the Advertising Standards Bureau. In 2010, the AMI awarded Ian the esteemed Sir Charles McGrath Award for his contribution to the industry.
Danielle Duell
CEO, The Gainsdale Group
Danielle is a dynamic leader, strategist, marketer and entrepreneur. She has worked in the fashion, construction, tourism and events industries with businesses such as the award winning Riverlife Adventure Centre, where she was CEO and part owner. At Gainsdale, Danielle is responsible for a diverse portfolio including Spicers Retreats Hotels and Lodges Group, Spa Anise day spa chain, Francis Leon fashion brand, and events company Tailwind Promotions. With an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship, she recently won a coveted scholarship to participate in a women's leadership forum at Harvard Business School this May.
Dr Amantha Imber
Founder and Head Inventiologist, Inventium
Amantha is a creativity and innovation psychologist. She has a passion for practical, science-based tools that help people get their brain ‘unstuck', get creative juices flowing and uncover great ideas that can lead to business growth. With a PhD in organisational psychology, and a client list boasting brands such as Coca-Cola, LEGO, BP, Medibank Private, Vodafone and St George, her works spans the globe as she enables people's transformation into creative dynamos. Michael Janz

Michael is a dynamic, entertaining speaker and facilitator who provides practical insights into increasing productivity. Michael was a teacher, school principal and Senior Executive at Education Queensland before becoming the Director of Priority Management in 1995, where Michael delivers and oversees Priority’s training delivery and marketing in Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and the Northern Territory. Priority Management is widely acknowledged as a world leader in Communication, Time Management and Project Management training. As Priority Management’s Subject Matter Expert for Workload Management for the Asia Pacific Region and being their leading facilitator of programs internationally Michael has delivered training in New York City, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Singapore and throughout Canada.
Darren Ryan
General Manager Consumer Marketing, Canon Australia
Darren's career started at Procter & Gamble in sales and marketing where his consumer insights skills enabled the successful launch of household brands such as Head & Shoulders and Febreeze. From there he spent seven years at IBM, responsible for marketing communications across Oceania. Since moving to Canon four years ago, he has driven a refocus on the consumer with tangible impact in key product categories. Darren's session will look at what it took for Canon to achieve mindset changes in marketing and in the broader business as well as the World of EOS campaign.

As CEO of Springfield Land Corporation Jim oversights the development of the international award winning world’s leading master planned city – Greater Springfield. Jim is the creator of the “Three Learning Frames” management approach which aligns outcomes with congruent relationships, structures, systems and capabilities. In 2009 Jim was awarded an Order of Australia for Services to Public Sector Reform and Services to the Community and has previously been awared the Centenary Medal for services to the Public Sector. Jim is a Fellow of the CPA and Australian Institute of Management, Board member of Australai 21 and the Puuya Foundation and a Fellow CPM of the Australian Marketing Institute.
